Congratulations to the under 9's who won the Frampton Rangers tournament at the weekend, leaving Matt in a state of shock! and to the under 12's who retained the Castle Coombe tournament trophy they won last year and who were runners up at the Calne tournament at the weekend.

Bristol United is holding its AGM on 15th June at THE KINGS HEAD Whitehall Road (in the skittle alley) starting at 7.30.

It is open to all parents/guardians of club members and provides an opportunity for people to suggest improvements, offer help or raise questions about the organisation and development of the club.

If you would like to ask a question or questions, or recommend a change to the club's rules, then please make your proposal by email to  julesbufc@yahoo.co.uk

If you need them, those rules are in the club constitution.

Some committee members will be giving up their roles this year, so the need for new blood is greater than ever with many members relinquishing their respective roles after many years of dedicated service.

Everyone involved in the club - whether a committee member or a coach - is a volunteer, giving of their time freely.

Please give some thought to whether you can help us spread the load in the next 12 months.

 You may hold up to 2 positions on the Committee  No particular skills are required; our existing committee members come from a wide variety of jobs and backgrounds. If you would like to find out more about a particular role then please feel free to contact any of the existing committee member. If you would like to join the committee please can you apply by email and I will contact you with all details.

All proposals and nominations must be with the club secretary by 1st June.

A huge well done to Bristol United Under 13's who have won the Avon Youth League Fair Play Award for the 2009-10.

This award is decided on the conduct of players, supporters and club officials and is voted for by the referees, opposition clubs and league officials. As there are over 60 clubs in the league this is a fantastic achievement.

Well Done to all involved with the Under 13 team.
